How It Works

The electrode rods are suspended at different heights inside the tank. When the liquid level rises to touch an electrode, it completes a low-voltage circuit between the rod and the reference (ground) electrode. A floatless relay or level controller detects this current and triggers the corresponding output — starting or stopping a pump, activating an alarm, or opening a valve.
